Metrolina Park

Completed in 2018

Located on the former site of the Charlotte Fairgrounds Speedway, Metrolina Park is a 1.2 million square foot six-building, Class-A industrial development that draws inspiration from the site’s racing history.

The architecture captures a sense of speed and movement through strong horizontal design elements that carry the eye across each façade toward diagonal panels anchoring the corner entries - an abstract nod to crossing the finish line. A carefully composed palette of reveals, paint patterns, and bold geometric forms gives the park a cohesive yet distinctive identity, transforming a straightforward industrial development into a recognizable landmark within the Metrolina area.

This project was recognized with a Design Achievement Award from the Tilt-Up Construction Association 2019.
